Apple Crumb Pie
5-7 lg. tart apples
1 9” unbaked pastry shell
1 c. sugar, divided
1 tsp. cinnamon
¾ c. flour
⅓ c. butter
Pare apples; cut in eighths and arrange in unbaked pie shell. Sprinkle with ½ sugar mixed with cinnamon. Mix remaining sugar with flour; cut in butter until crumbly. Sprinkle over apples. Bake at 400 degrees for 40 minutes or until apples are tender. Serves 6-8.
